Everyone who enters will perform. This is NOT a competition.
Rehearsals are mandatory and will take place after school in the auditorium on March 31st and May 27th. There will be no audience permitted at rehearsal. Parents will be notified of pick up time.
The Main Show is scheduled for May 28th beginning at 7pm. Student participants should arrive by 6pm.
All participants who will use music during their performance must email the Talent Show Committee Chairs with their music after they have registered. Music must be clearly labeled with the title, track number and performer's name(s). Please use karaoke tracks for any vocal performances. Any necessary editing (such as cutting music to duration) must already be completed upon submission.
Any participant using music with lyrics or signing in the show must provide a written copy of the lyrics with his or her Registration Form. Keep in mind that lyrics should be appropriate for an elementary school audience.
Everyone must wear appropriate footwear during the performances. Socks only or barefoot will require prior approval.
Participants will only see other performances during Rehearsal when they will be seated in the audience; during the Main Show they will be waiting in the classrooms and only in the auditorium for their own performance. All performers will be supervised by parent volunteers while in the classroom at all times.
Videotaping and/or Photographic Release: All children performing in the Talent Show will be videotaped. By registering my child for the Talent Show, as their parent/guardian, I give the Oradell PTA express permission to videotape and/or photograph my child and use my child's name for purposes of creating a digital download for the show for distribution. I further acknowledge that my child's participation in the Talent Show is voluntary and neither my child nor I will receive any financial compensation.
PLEASE NOTE: We are allowing 2 performances per child. However, if we reach a certain amount of registrations, we may need to request one performance choice per participant. We will advise accordingly.
PLEASE NOTE: Performance time will be determined once all submissions are received.
